The Muscatatuck Park is one of 80 sites listed in the Indiana Wildlife Viewing Guide. The guide was created by many agencies in cooperation with Defenders of Wildlife. The guide is a small, yet useful listing of Indiana's best sites for wildlife viewing. The guide also gives some hints to the potential recreationist.

The Muscatatuck Park is teeming with wildlife. Although the property is not that large, the Muscatatuck river corridor connects the property to Crosley State Fish & Wildlife Area and Cali State Nature Preserve. With uplands, lowlands, and  wetlands  you may see more than you would expect.
