Contest The Photo Contest is intended to promote Jennings County. The Jennings
County Parks and Recreation is seeking photos taken within Jennings County to be
displayed within the Jennings County Visitor’s Center and to find a variety of
photos that maybe used to create interpretive displays. A. Categories 1.
Amateur A.
Historic
1st, 2nd, 3rd B.
Nature
1st, 2nd, 3rd C.
Contemporary 1st, 2nd, 3rd 2.
Professional A.
Historic
1st, 2nd, 3rd B.

1st place all categories

Historic- historical building, event, or place present in Jennings County 2.
Nature-Plants, animals, landscapes with in Jennings County 3.
Contemporary photos are any photos taken within Jennings County that does not
fit
into the above categories. D.
Outline to Submit Photographs 1.
All photos must be taken in Jennings County 2.
Photos may not be altered. Minor adjustments such as spotting and slight color
adjustments 3.
All photos must be 5”x 7” or 8 1/2”x 11” (preferred size) 4.
All photos must be on a cardboard backing and be matted. 5.
All photos must have the following information on the back, top right corner on
the photo A.
Name B.
Address C.
Phone and email D.
Location of photograph E.
Category photograph is to be entered (ex.– Professional Nature) E.
Guidelines for Contest 1.
Photographs must be received by Jennings County Parks and Recreation by/on
November 1st. (Date extended 2 weeks). 2. Photographs can be mailed to Jennings County Parks and Recreation, 325 North State Highway 3 North Vernon, IN 47265 or be brought into the Jennings County Parks and Recreation Office 3. Photographs will not be returned. 4.
Photographers will receive credit if used in any publications. 5.
All winning photographers will be notified by November 30, 2008. 6.
All winning photographers will be named and given a certificate along with
monetary award. F. Additional Photographs Jennings
County Parks and Recreation is also seeking additional archived photographs to
be displayed. Anyone wishing to submit photographs may do so by contacting Greg
